Stephen Paddock bought his home there in January 2015, for $369,000.

A little more than an hour later, she had been found out of the country.

In 2014, Danley checked into the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas - where Paddock was renting a room before he carried out the shooting.

Department of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Rob Bolivar said so far the consulate had no official confirmation yet whether Danley is indeed a Filipino.

In addition to Paddock, investigators said they located Danley and said she may have been his roommate.

The massacre that happened on Sunday night Pacific Standard Time, left 59 people dead and 500 others injured, after Paddock opened fire from the 32nd story of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

The newspaper cited friends as saying she resided on the Gold Coast for more than a decade and was married to an Australian man who has since died.

Paddock was a prolific gambler who was known to play poker games for $1,000 a hand, and was spending up to $30,000 a day on the casino floor in the days leading up to the shooting, according to casino accounts.

"We assure though that the BI shall cooperate with any and all of our global counterparts in providing any relevant information that would help their investigation", Mangrobang added.

Authorities initially believed Marilou Danley was traveling with Paddock at the time of the attack, but have since confirmed she's been traveling overseas since September 25 and was in the Philippines at the time of the attack, NBC reported.

Shortly after Paddock - who killed himself as police arrived at his door - was named as the suspect, Danley, 62, was identified as a person of interest. "We have discovered he was utilizing some of her identification". "Ms. Danley was not in the United States when the incident happened", the DFA said, also citing information relayed to the consul general by the Las Vegas sheriff's office.

On her Linkedin profile Danley was listed as a high-limit hostess at the Atlantis.

"We mourn with the families of those who perished and hope for the speedy recovery of the more than 400 people who were reported injured", Cayetano said in a statement.

Sheriff Lombardo said authorities need to ask Danley about the weapons. They married in Las Vegas in 1990, according to Washoe County records.
