But perhaps one of the most useful new features is the ability to filter games to easily discover Xbox One X enhanced titles.

It's also good news for Xbox One X owners, because the new update contains a host of new features to make the transition between consoles even faster.

In preparation for its upcoming launch on November 7, Microsoft began pushing what it calls its Fall Update for the Xbox One to consoles on Monday.

The Xbox One fall update is rolling out across all systems today. With that in mind, let's look at what the new update adds. Fluent Design is Microsoft's new design language, which is meant to seamlessly translate across 2D and 3D environments.

Recent activity can now be accessed faster with the new profile settings. Other than that the version 1.2 of Minecraft will be free if you already the game for X box One edition. Just unplug the drive from your current console, plug it in to your new one, and you're ready to go.

As On MSFT points out, Xbox One no longer asks for further confirmation when you try to turn it off with your voice.

Broadcasts at 1080p will now happen automatically if your network can support it.

Existing Xbox One owners can back up their games and console settings to an external drive so that they're ready to be applied to the new console during setup. Unfortunately, there's no fixed schedule for when that content will become available, or how much space it will consume.

Guide flyouts will show you who's in what game. This allows you to pin anything as a "block" on the dash, when you scroll up and down.

Can't figure out something?Xbox Assist is here to help. You can rearrange these blocks however you choose, Microsoft says.

Microsoft has rolled out this year's Xbox One Fall Update, providing gamers with more ways of customizing their console.

This includes a new Pin button that holds upwards of 40 pins. Pins can connect to apps, games, Xbox Live Gold, or other shortcut.

The built-in GameDVR will now be able to capture up to 4K/HDR screenshots and game clips on Xbox One X, and you'll be able to capture content directly to an external hard drive.
