Metal Gear Survive's release date revealed

Metal Gear Survive will be released in North America on February 20, 2018 for the Xbox and PS4, Konami confirmed on Wednesday. The European release is scheduled two days after, on February 22, 2018.

Items included in the Survival Pack Bonus are: 4 Gold Plated Weapons - Bat, Spear, Machete and Sledgehammer. The tweet, which you can see just below, also lists the pre-order bonuses, which include four gold-plated weapons, four metallic "survival" scarves, and the "Boxman" accessory, which harks back to Metal Gear Solid's "The Orange" cardboard box.

Metal Gear Survive is still pegged for launch on PC via Steam, but it looks like we don't have a release date for that version yet.

Screenshots shown on the Metal Gear Survive website shows 3 different creatures that will be featured in the game along with 2 different modes, single and online co-op. The sole objective is to survive against the zombie-like things with crystals for heads.

Konami never had second thoughts about launching the spin-off version of the game.

It's safe to say that Konami created quite an uproar when they revealed Metal Gear Survive, as people around the world were already upset about how the company parted ways with Hideo Kojima, and announcing a new Metal Gear game shortly after didn't exactly make things better.
