New Teaser Trailer Arrives For Upcoming PS4 Spider-Man Game

Though it didn't have as big of a presence as other hot titles like The Last of Us: Part 2, or the new Ghost of Tsushima the trailer still showed new footage. Peter also introduces Miles Morales, which gave us Ultimates Universe fans a thrill. He played a small role in Spider-Man Homecoming, and so far it looks like his role will be somewhat minimal in the new PS4 game as well.

Those interested in Spider-Man will be able to purchase it sometime in 2018.

Of course it's not long before we see Spider-Man do his thing, fighting against a raft of enemies and sorting out a bank robbery.


The game generally has a very "soft and smooth" image, and uses motion blur seamlessly, giving Spider-Man a general pre-rendered CGI look to it.

According to the official Twitter account for the Spider-Man PS4 game, the official name of the game was meant to be revealed at PSX, past year in December 2016. Check it out above if you haven't seen it already; we think you're going to be so excited. Jay Ong, Marvel's vice president of games, told Polygon that Spider-Man marked the start of what's to come. In the trailer we get some brand new looks at Mister Negative, who we assumed would be the main villain this time around, but Mister Negative isn't the only baddy we get a glimpse of.

Developer Insomniac is working with Marvel to create an original story for the Spider-Man PS4 game, that also isn't a retelling of how the superhero obtained his powers.
