Looks Like UK Retailer 3G Has Leaked the Razer Phone

The phone offers 8GB of RAM that was obvious if we are talking about a gaming smartphone. The dual camera setup comes with a 12 megapixel shooter with an f/1.75 aperture partnered with a 13 megapixel camera with 2.6x optical zoom. From the leaked pictures, it appears that Razer didn't go with a design that incorporates a bezel-less screen for its first phone even though it has been a trend this year, especially for high-end phones. A few weeks ago an accidental leak posted some specifications of the #RAZER Phone on GFXbench, which revealed a very capable device. The speakers also feature Dolby ATMOS sound, so they should pack a punch.

A reddit user (/u/The_King_of_Okay) dug up two links pointing to Razer becoming an official partner with 3G United Kingdom and Three as a whole (3G is, confusingly, a subsidiary of Three), indicating that Razer is working hard to expand its smartphone brand. Razer has scheduled an announcement for 1 November, which the company terms as its "biggest unveiling" yet.

Previous leak of the Razer Phone.

While we expect the Razer smartphone to have some gaming-centric angle to it, earlier rumors have suggested that it might arrive with a 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, a Snapdragon 835 SoC and 64GB storage.

The listing did not carry any information on the chipset that will be powering the phone.

If the data sheet doesn't reveal what processor the Razer Phone is going to embark, it is hard to believe that this will not be a Snapdragon 835 as the overall flagship of the trade.

It's not actually a surprise that Razer is making a smartphone, seeing as how it purchased Nextbit, the company behind the cloud-based Robin smartphone, at the start of the year. Given the specs listed here, I personally can't wait to see what Razer has in store.
