OnePlus 5T Launched: Price, Specifications And Availability

Here's all you need to know about the OnePlus 5T's release date, price and specs. The internal storage offered by the device will be 64GB and 128GB. If you purchased the OnePlus 5 then you're someone who already spent between $500-$560 on a new device in just the last five to six months, and with the OnePlus 5T launching next week you'll be looking at another $500-$560 as it will come to market for $499 or $559 depending on whether or not you choose the 64GB model or the 128GB model. The device will be made available in India from November 21 through company's online retail store. OnePlus says its proprietary charge feature can cram enough juice for a day's use into a dead phone in just half an hour.

Camera Being one of the pioneers in the whole dual-camera craze, it's no surprise that the OnePlus 5T comes fashioned with another one.

The notable differences between OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 is that the former runs on OyxgenOS 4.7.0 which is an improvement over OxygenOS 4.5 on the OnePlus 5.

According to OnePlus, the OnePlus 5T will be available for pre-order from the official store as of today with a price set at United States $499 for the 6GB/64GB version and USA $559 for the 8GB/128GB version. And that was a direct shot at the competition since it was a suggestion that their phones weren't going to meet your needs and OnePlus' phones would. It has the same design, that uses a metal body with expertly curved corners. With its 6-inch minimal bezel display, the 5T looks more in line with the current trend. Users will also be able to swap buttons and customise their icons. You've got a 1080p display on it in a time where most high-end phones are using QHD. As such, the fingerprint sensor returned to the back of the phone to make way for the display, but I prefer that location anyway. The company claims that it is one of the fastest on any smartphone with over 100 facial identifiers. Also, it has introduced facial recognition to help unlock the phone even without the fingerprint scanner.

The front facing camera remains the same at 16 megapixels, but is used for a new feature of the phone - Face Unlock. There's an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor here, 3,300mAh battery, 16-megapixel front camera with IMX371 sensor, USB-C, Dash Charge fast charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The rear otherwise looks the same, with dual cameras and a OnePlus logo. They also have wider f/1.7 apertures for better low-light performance. This time, however, they've swapped things out by packing a wide-angle main camera, but the secondary camera is actually one with the same 27mm field of view, but a higher 20MP resolution and the capability to combine 4 pixels into one in order to reduce noise in low-light pictures. OnePlus default calibration is excellent, balancing saturated colors with accuracy, but you can tweak it towards something more to your liking in display settings. Unlike the small zoom lens in the OnePlus 5, the second lens in the OnePlus 5 is now a regular lens with bigger aperture and wide-angle (around 27mm) focal length.
