Ford and other drivers on California State Route 126 helped the woman exit her vehicle before the police and paramedics arrived.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford came to the rescue of a woman after she accidentally crashed her auto in California.


According to TMZ, there are several eye-witness accounts claiming that Ford had been driving behind the motorist who had lost control, crashing into the side of the road in the Santa Paula, California area.

"Star Wars" actor Harrison Ford assisted a woman in southern California after she crashed her vehicle off the road Sunday.

The accident scene is near the Santa Paula Airport. The woman was reportedly taken to the emergency room with only minor injuries. In video footage obtained by TMZ, Harrison can be seen standing just at the entrance to the tunnel, helping cars back up so that they can get out of the tunnel and merge into a separate lane.
