Apple to Launch iPhone SE 2 in Early 2018

Now, it looks like we can expect an iPhone SE 2 in the not too distant future. Although, the iPhone SE wasn't a bigger success, but it still did the job very well, especially at time when large screen phones are becoming a norm. Apple is reportedly planning to launch the second generation iPhone SE early next year. According to 9to5Mac, it is likely that the SE 2 will receive the A10 chip now used by iPhone 7 units. The iPhone SE in comparison has the Apple A9 processor. Many of these people still would stick to the iPhone SE and are fine with the fact that the hardware is not as powerful as the other iPhones. Although it was primarily target at developing countries such as India, the smartphone has also found a niche following among those who prefer the pocketability and classic design of the smartphone.

The iPhone SE 2 would likely give Apple a boost as sales of its iPhone X and iPhone 8 models slow down later in 2018. Beyond this, there is not much information available at the time of writing. The earlier speculations have tipped that the device might feature a modest update with a faster chipset. It lets fans of the smaller 4-inch screen retain the pocket-friendly size, but benefit from near-flagship specs. It is also reported that it will come with a price tag of $450.

Whatever you think of the iPhone X, there's no debating that it's the most drastic evolution that Apple's smartphone line has ever seen.
