Former 'Glee' Actor Naya Rivera Arrested For Alleged Domestic Battery

Actress Naya Rivera, who played the role of high school cheerleader Santana Lopez on Glee, was arrested Saturday night after an altercation with her husband, Ryan Dorsey.

Rivera was in Kanawha County, West Virginia, where her husband grew up, when she and Dorsey were on a walk with their 2-year-old. Dorsey claimed Rivera had "struck him in the head and face" and authorities saw "minor injuries" which corroborated his claims.

The video shows Rivera as she is being charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Kalea Gunderson, a local reporter, asked Rivera her if she wanted to say anything, but the Glee star didn't respond. After Dorsey gave police a cell phone video of the assault, Rivera, 30, was reportedly arrested. Rivera was then released from custody.

Rivera and Dorsey were Wednesday in July 2014 in a small, private ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

After a brief romance with David Spade this summer, Rivera filed to have their divorce motion dismissed just last month.

The couple was spending Thanksgiving weekend in Chesapeake with Dorsey's family, TMZ added.

On Oct. 4, Rivera had posted an Instagram image of herself and Dorsey happily together with Josey, standing between two people dressed as Cookie Monster and Elmo from "Sesame Street". Dorsey is also an actor and has appeared on shows including "Pitch" and "Nashville".

Rivera and Dorsey began in her early 20s, but broke up when she starred on Glee.
