There's apparently more truth to Manny Pacquiao's curious Thanksgiving tweet than originally thought.

Conor McGregor has no shortage of options for his next potential fight as he debates on which sport to continue in next.

"If we can negotiate it, I have no problem".

We imagine White's threat carries clearly to all the other would-be opponents of Conor McGregor now not on the UFC roster: don't even float the idea of a fight with McGregor or things will get litigious fast. "It is ok with both of us", Pacquiao, who also lost to Mayweather back in 2015, said. "If that's true, I will be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever's representing him". Negotiating the Mayweather-McGregor bout took all kinds of involvement from White, Mayweather, Mayweather's manager Al Haymon and longtime business partner Leonard Ellerbe, Showtime sports general manager Stephen Espinoza, and Ice Cube.

Pacquiao, who turns 39 this month, lost his WBO welterweight title to Australian Jeff Horn in July, having come out of retirement in 2016 to take the belt from American Jessie Vargas. Despite the disputed scorecards from the judges, "PacMan" appeared very much past his prime.

"It depends who they can finalise as my opponent by April", Pacquiao said, insisting that the fight had to happen during the lengthy senate recess.

McGregor slapped a Bellator official after storming the cage in November and was heavily criticised for using a homophobic slur at a UFC fight night in October.

"If we equate boxing with fighting - because I'm not talking about his ability as an MMA participant because he has been very good with that - Conor McGregor can't spell fight", Arum said. With Manny, it wouldn't be a contest, it would be a money grab.
