Since hitting the Xbox One Game Preview Program earlier in December, PUBG has seen a number of updates to smooth out the experience and bring it closer to its much more polished PC sibling. While lag has been a common problem for PUBG, it's particularly frustrating now, as the release of 1.0 was meant to make a number of optimizations to the game.

However, a collection of issues were noticed by fans on the PC, leading Bluehole to release a new patch to combat the problems.

The PUBG team explains that it was a "combination of causes" that resulted in this lag and issues with character placement readjustment. As such, Bluehole and Microsoft have been working really hard to make sure that people know about the port of the popular game of 2017. But what do you think of this news? This is a relatively small change, but it will prevent you from telling your teammates where the enemies are the moment you die.

Fixed the issue where the beginning of the Death Cam and replay was missing.

PUBG, or PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, is available now for Xbox One (with Xbox One X support), and PC.

That being said, one of the biggest complaints still plaguing the title is the game crashing.
