Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit south London

Meghan Markle has closed all her social media accounts almost four months before her May wedding to Prince Harry.

The prince and his fiancee visited community station Reprezent FM, which provides media training and experience to young people.

Meghan shut down The Tig in April of 2017, but kept her Instagram and Twitter accounts, People reports.

Although the royal family does use social media in an official manner, none of the royals have their own personal social media accounts that we know of. It's where Prince George and Princess Charlotte's births were first announced, and just yesterday, when they shared photos of Charlotte ahead of her first day of preschool.

She was met by cheers from a crowd waving both United Kingdom and USA flags when she and Harry attended their first official event as an engaged couple in December in Nottingham.

"She answers the questions!" he said cheekily, pointing to Markle. She said, "I don't see it as giving anything up". "And now being boots on the ground in the United Kingdom, I'm excited to just really get to know more about the different communities here, [and learn about the] smaller organizations who are working on the same causes that I've always been passionate about under this umbrella". She would use Instagram to post about her work on the TV show "Suits", and to share adorable pictures of her two rescue dogs. The U.S. actress and the queen's grandson are due to marry May 19 at Windsor Castle.
