To mark the 50 anniversary of Bullitt, the iconic cult film which featured a dark green Mustang GT in a starring role alongside Steve McQueen, the new 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt, driven by the actor's grand-daughter Molly, appears in a new video in which she races a Dodge Charger to obtain the last spot in a parking lot.

Ford, the American automaker has revealed the latest version of the popular Mustang Bullitt at the 2018 Detroit Motor Show.

The Highland Green color from the movie will make it back along with a new Shadow Black.

On the inside, the 2019 Bullitt Mustang features black leather seats with green accent stitching, and that green thread is also found on the dash cap, the door panels and the center console armrest.

Finally, the most important upgrades of the 2019 Mustang Bullitt package are the go-fast bits.

The "Bullitt" vehicle chase scene around the streets of 1968 San Francisco is one of the most memorable ever, making the dark green fastback Mustang coupe driven by detective Frank Bullitt a movie icon. Engine components borrowed from the GT350 boost the car's output to 475 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The statement says, "Loaded with the most venom ever, the all-new Mustang Shelby GT500 with its 700-plus horsepower supercharged V-8 will be the most powerful street-legal production Ford ever".
