Princess Eugenie is engaged: The official photos of the happy couple

Two months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, comes more low-key yet still exciting news to celebrate: Princess Eugenie and her longtime beau, Jack Brooksbank, are also getting married.

Her mum the Duchess of York, has a very similar engagement ring from Prince Andrew.

Her father, the Duke of York, announced her engagement earlier today.

The couple of seven years became engaged this month during a New Year's getaway, where Brooksbank popped the question among the romantic white sand beaches and paradise sunsets of Nicaragua.

The couple are planning to Wednesday in the same church where Prince Harry and Markle will be married, St George's Chapel in Windsor.

Voicing her "total joy", Sarah said on Twitter: "The river flows well to its destiny because of the guidance of a solid rock". "I was over the moon, crying". What sets a padparadscha sapphire apart from a traditional sapphire is that the gem is a mixture of red and yellow sapphires, which creatures the attractive rosy hue you see below in Princess Eugenie's ring. Both weddings will take place at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

The official announcement was made by Buckingham Palace on Monday, on behalf of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew and his former wife the Duchess of York.

In one picture released to mark the announcement Eugenie, wearing a colourful dress by Erdem and shoes by Jimmy Choo, and her fiance gaze into each other's eyes. "She was very happy, as was my grandfather". "I'm just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness". One person who is, understandably, thrilled about Eugenie's news is her mother, Sarah Ferguson. Now, he's an ambassador for Casamigos, the tequila company owned by George Clooney, Rande Gerber (Cindy Crawford's husband) and Mike Meldman.

The couple first met in Verbier in 2010, while Jack was on a skiing trip with friends.

The ninth in line to the throne, the princess works at London's contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth.
