The FBI has announced they believe they have found the body of 4-year-old Raul Gonzalez Johnson, who was reported missing out of Scotland County.

FBI investigators said the body was found in a pond off Peabridge Road, less than a mile from Crestline Road where Raul Gonzalez Johnson was last seen. The pond was drained on Friday, but there was no word whether anything was found.

Investigators in Scotland County enter day four of the search for a missing 4-year-old boy. Raul's mother, Annie Johnson, was at work.

Lynch said about 150 searchers continued to cover the area around the home of Raul Gonzalez Johnson on Saturday.

The child was last seen wearing a tiger-striped shirt with tigers on it and white trousers with rocket ships.

The boy's grandfather called his mother at 11 a.m. Wednesday, saying Raul went missing.

Local K-9 units are also being deployed in Johnson's search.

"I said, 'Baby, what do you want?' He still wouldn't say nothing, so I said, 'If you're not going to say what you want, go back home to your papa, '" Stubbs said.

The home is about 2,000 feet from the SC line.

Since Friday morning, the focus of the search for Raul has been draining a nearby pond, where a dive team came up empty Thursday.

"It's just very heartbreaking and devastating to think about... it's been so cold the last few nights", said Bowen. "Raul is still considered missing ... and that's where we are at this moment", Kersey said.

"Johnson is described as an Indian boy around 3'0" and 38 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

More than 40 law enforcement, search-and-rescue, and volunteer agencies are involved in the search for the little boy.

Anyone withinformation regarding Raul is asked to call the Scotland County Sheriff's Office at 910-276-3385, or call 911.
