Mohamed Salah vows to stay at Liverpool

"Yes, I follow it [La Liga], I see some games".

It makes his £37m move from Roma in the summer look an absolute bargain, and with the transfer market as it is now Liverpool will be looking to quadruple that fee if they ever made a decision to sell.

The 25-year-old has already netted 21 goals in the Premier League and 27 in all competitions.

"I was there for one year, but I only played during the first six months".

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah says he likes La Liga's style of football, but does not want to comment on rumours linking him to Real Madrid as he is happy at Anfield.

For now, though, Salah is happy on Merseyside and has curbed the transfer talk somewhat by reiterating his happiness at having secured a move to the club he supported as a boy. "I chose to come here and I think it was a good choice", Salah added. I want to help the team to win trophies or be in a good position in the league, in my head I'm trying to do that. #Mohamed Salah indicated on his exceptional performance that he has always succeeded to score goals wherever he was playing and but this year at Liverpool was different and is certainly not a surprise for him.

He added: "I have loved the club since I was young and knew this was a team I wanted to play for".

And the Champions League winners are ready to up their interest in the former Chelsea winger, if he takes his Premier League form into the World Cup.

Salah's commitment to Liverpool will be especially welcome by the Anfield fans following the January departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona. I learned a lot from him.

His goals have put Real Madrid on alert with Zinedine Zidane publicly praising him and Egypt boss Hector Cuper claiming he is destined to play at the Bernabeu.
