Sony takes $100 off PS VR bundles starting February 18

Sony Gods have answered our cries and are dropping the price of PlayStation VR to $200. The deal starts in a few days and will continue to run through March 3, giving all PlayStation 4 owners (original console through Pro) the chance to get the maker's VR gear at a big discount. This is $100 off the regular PlayStation VR price. There's the Doom bundle, which swaps out Gran Turismo for Doom VFR and costs $299.99, and there's the Skyrim bundle, which includes Skrim VR and twoPlayStation Move Motion controllers, in addition to the headset and camera. It's now returning once again, from February 18 to March 3. Between June and December 3 past year Sony amassed a million sales, taking the total beyond 2 million.

While you're not getting any games or extra goodies with this PlayStation VR deal, you are saving a fair amount of cash, and that's a bonus, right? Would you recommend it to your fellow PS4 owners? Starting at $349.99, this includes the headset, PlayStation camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0, and Skyrim VR.

Sony is also selling a Playstation VR Doom VFR bundle for $300, which comes with the headset, camera and a Doom VFR disc. The full game features all official add-ons, including Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn expansions.

We thought highly of both Doom VFR and Skyrim VR, with Skyrim VR actually taking the award for Best VR game in 2017.

In addition to saving quite a few bucks, this is a good time to snatch up the VR headset before some significant releases.

This PS VR promotion is available at participating retailers in the U.S. You can find more information here.

Two months after Christmas, Sony is discounting its PSVR bundles.
