DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Constantine Will Join the Legends Full

Sara Lance is not Sara Lance anymore on tonight's DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Spinning off as part of The CW's "Arrowverse", the show brings together a ragtag group of heroes, villains, and some people who slot right in-between, all whom have to put their differences aside and come together if they're to save the world from a bad fate. The CW has promoted Matt Ryan, who plays occult expect John Constantine, to a series regular on Legends for the fourth season.

John Constantine first appeared in a 1984 issue of The Saga of Swamp Thing and was the lead character in the comic books Hellblazer (1988 to 2013), Constantine (2013 to 2015), Constantine: The Hellblazer (2015 to 2016), and The Hellblazer (launched in 2016).

The show recently lost series regulars Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber, and Franz Drameh this season, and Ryan's new status would help replenish those ranks should the series come back for a fourth cycle. Ryan's series regular promotion is contingent on the show nabbing a season four renewal, which is fully expected. After it was cancelled, he resurfaced on the CW's Arrow as the same character.

Based on the characters from DC, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc.in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. So Constantine fans should be in luck.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Nick Zano, Dominic Purcell, and Amy Louise Pemberton as Gideon.
