A Yorkville man already charged with hitting a pregnant woman with a stolen vehicle has been jailed on $75,000 bond stemming from a charge of armed robbery, according to a news release from the DeKalb Police Department.

Big Bull is charged with robbery with a firearm (or imitation), an additional two counts of robbery, three counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and one count of uttering threats.

The woman and armed man fled the scene in a silver Volvo that had a SC license plate, 825OLX, according to the report.

Hamilton police are looking for a suspect in connection with an attempted street robbery in the north end.

The suspect was reported to be pictured wearing a black Northface jacket, black trousers, and a black mask across the face.

After a lengthy investigation, Wilton Police announced on Thursday (April 5) that they have arrested two suspects who allegedly broke into a Wilton Gulf station on Danbury Road by shattering a glass door.

Officers responded to the residence and the Crisis Response Unit (which includes the SWAT Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team) was activated to address the suspect.

Chief Inspector Oppong said the suspects would soon be put before court. Due to these robberies occurring in the same area just days apart, patrol officers and Crime Suppression investigators began focusing their attention on the area. The suspects bound the employer's hands, took the money from the cash register, glass pipes and other paraphernalia from the display case, and then left the store on foot, heading south.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225, text 222973 (abbypd) or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
