A police report says that the three had responded to a distress call of a 60-year-old man on Sunday night after his five sons started assaulting him demanding to know where their mother was. Authorities say a 19-year-old guy carrying out a handgun has been arrested.

The 19-year-old faces charges including terroristic threatening and gun offenses. He has been identified as 32-year-old Manuel Herrera.

Police said the female was able to run away from the male.

Paramedics also treated and transported his passenger to the hospital in stable condition after she sustained an ear injury.

At about 6:40 p.m. Sunday, police said the suspect confronted four people - two men ages 57 and 61 and two women ages 28 and 43 - while armed with unsafe instruments.

Ocoee police were called to a home in the Pioneer Key II neighborhood about 9:30 p.m., after three suspects robbed the home at gunpoint before stealing a vehicle, the Police Department said. Police declined to specify the type of instruments. But when they met in a parking lot to complete the transaction, police said the accomplice grabbed the ginseng and took off.

The vehicle failed to stop and was monitored by police across the Ballarat area.
