The Philadelphia Eagles traded for cornerback Daryl Worley this offseason for Torrey Smith and while the move was viewed as a win for the Eagles, that may backfire soon enough. A gun was also found at the scene, according to Rapoport.

Following Sunday's arrest, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer tweeted that a Panthers source told him the team was concerned about Worley's commitment and love of "the nightlife".

Worley was a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. In college, Worley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault.
