Drake, Kendrick Perkins exchange words during Cavaliers-Raptors

In case you forgot that the Cleveland Cavaliers randomly signed Kendrick Perkins last month, the enforcer made his presence known at halftime as he was spotted jawing at Raptors homer Drake on the sideline.

"What happened was I was talking to my old teammate, Serge, walking into halftime telling him 'We about to win this game, ' and Drake butted in talking s-- to me".

With the Cavs in Toronto for Game 2 on Thursday, it's possible there will be more fireworks between Drake and Perkins.

Perkins explained that he told the Grammy victor, "Sit your ass down and watch the game".

Suffice to say, while his music might not be playing at The Q, Drake's presence looms large over the Cavs' ongoing series.

In that clip, ex-NBA player Avery Johnson jokes about whether it was "God's plan" for Drake to get into a fight with Kendrick Perkins, and, frankly, it's a great question. Perkins has not entered a game yet this postseason.

According to ESPN, Drake said in a comment on an Instagram post on Tuesday: "I just said I like the hem on his capris".

If you've been to a Cleveland Cavaliers game in the past few years, you've probably heard Drake's music playing at some point either during the game or pre-game warmups. After the game-perhaps with tempers running high after the Raptors lost in overtime-the two continued to go at it, with Drake reportedly calling Perkins a "fucking pussy" and saying "I'm here in real life".

"I'm fine. What's he going to do?"

While occupying his usual courtside territory, Drizzy allegedly overheard Perkins trash-talking to his former teammate Serge Ibaka, who now plays center for Drizzy's home team.
