It's something we'd most certainly pay to see, and if Black Panther director, Ryan Coogler has his way, we might see it come life.

During a almost two-hour-long talk with Coogler at the Cannes Film Festival, he was asked if he'd ever put together such a movie.

But Coogler didn't want that inspiration divulged before the movie came out because he said he was anxious that people would think he was "aiming too high" for a comic book film. "They did it in the comic-book version", Coogler said.

Critics especially praised its strong women characters such as Nakia (Lupita Nyongo), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Shuri (Letitia Wright).

The 46-year-old actor stars as Everett K. Ross in the widely acclaimed Marvel movie, which features a predominantly black cast, but Martin doubts the film will spark a significant social change in the US. Thats one of my favourite parts of the movie when I watched it, and I didnt expect that.

Now you just need the rest of Wakanda to get on board. "That part of it was exciting", Coogler shared.

While appearing at the Cannes Film Festival, Coogler talked about a particular scene in Black Panther that's near and dear to him.

Black Panther's special features include some in-depth featurette videos, most notably a lengthy conversation between numerous minds behind Black Panther-the movie, as well as the original and contemporary comics. "They said they wanted "Panther" to feel like their James Bond, which I was excited about, because I love James Bond movies".
