As always, you're advised to keep an eye out for "various stability, battery or performance issues", while users with "accessibility needs" are not recommended to use this release as a daily driver.

Google launched the first Android P developer preview in March and waited until May to release the second Android P developer preview at its I/O developers conference.

If you're app-happy and often find yourself with loads of apps running at once, you might notice a little lag on your Android device.

Google tells us there are 157 new emoji, in fact.

In addition to Google's Pixel devices, the first Android P beta was made available on the Sony Xperia XZ2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, OnePlus 6, and Essential PH-1.

Android P Developer Preview 3 is rolling out now! Some highlights include red hair so gingers don't feel left out, a hero emoji that looks a lot like Superman, and a bagel with cream cheese - New Yorkers, rejoice. The list includes two gender neutral emojis, offering awn additional options for the Family and Couple With Heart emojis, joinging last year's addition of a gender-neutral Adult emoji. Unfortunately, Google still hasn't announced the actual name of the update.

As you may already know, Android P comes with native support for screen notches of varying shapes and sizes, possibly signifying that at least one 2018 Google Pixel will have such a feature.
