‘Halo Infinite’ Revealed In Trailer at E3 With Master Chief

Microsoft kicked off their annual E3 press conference with a bang by revealing a cinematic trailer for 343 Industries' Halo Infinite.

Halo Infinite is the next chapter of the legendary franchise that is developed by 343 Industries and created with its new Slipspace Engine.

The trailer didn't give us much exposition or background at all, but it did show an incredible new world to explore. It was mentioned that the story of Master Chief continues but in what fashion? The game will run on Microsoft's new Slipstream Engine, but the game is so early in development that the company isn't even announcing a release year.

You can check out the trailer below, and see if it entices you. More to come as we know it. The game releases with special enhancements for Xbox One X.

This afternoon during Microsoft's E3 2018 Xbox briefing, Halo Infinite was revealed to a very excited, very packed house.

Dan Casey is the senior editor of Nerdist and the author of books about Star Wars and the Avengers.
