The 13-year-old aspiring singer bashfully admitted that she was "a little bit nervous" as judge Mel B asked her how she was feeling, and she giggled awkwardly when asked questions about her favorite subjects in school.

The golden buzzer sends the Courtney right to the live shows and lets her bypass Vegas week.

The schoolgirl was supporting music legends Sister Sledge at the annual event, which saw her manage to get the crowd on their feet during her energetic three-song set.

Both the audience and the judges are left open-mouthed with surprise at the unique performance.

However, it was Howie Mandel who was really impressed by the performance.


"You are not from this era. The only thing I can do for you young lady is give you", Mandel explained before hitting the Golden Buzzer. Mandel says as he strikes the buzzer on the judges' desk.

Noah Guthrie - who appeared on 12 episodes of Glee season six as Roderick Meeks, the first member of the rebooted glee club, New Directions - wowed the AGT judges on Tuesday night's episode with his rendition of Rihanna's "Love on the Brain".

"Never ever underestimate the quiet person in the room", Tyra Banks tweeted.

Courtney Hadwin has made it through to the next round of America's Got Talent.

She's not the first British act to do well in America's Got Talent, with Wimbledon ventriloquist Paul Zerdin winning the 2015 series.
