Rockets Determined to Sign Carmelo Anthony

Ariza joined the Phoenix Suns on a one-year, $15 million deal earlier this month, more than double the salary he made last season.

Luc Mbah a Moute, who averaged almost 20 minutes per game over two seasons with the Clippers before heading to the Houston Rockets, has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $4.3 million deal to return to Los Angeles.

Reports surfaced on July 6 that the Thunder were looking to move Anthony.

Anthony and the Thunder are working towards a buyout though he could also be traded and waived thereafter. They already signed Chris Paul to a $160 million contract this offseason.

If Anthony does become a free agent, the Rockets won't be the only team interested in his services.

Given the recent news that Carmelo Anthony and the Oklahoma City Thunder are planning to part ways this summer, attention has shifted to his next destination.

Mbah a Moute, who had a one-year deal worth $2.1 million last season, turns 32 in September.

Last season, his first with the OKC Thunder, Anthony averaged 16.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

He previously played for the Clippers for two years prior to joining the Rockets. The Rockets need Capela if they want to remain an elite contender in the West.

"He is an elite competitor, tenacious defender, and a very effective offensive player, who fits the identity of our organization and the profile of a tough, serious player that is committed to winning". He averaged 12.1 points and 22.7 minutes during his 41 games with the Rockets.

Recognized as a top wing defender, Bradley, 27, has averaged 12.3 points over his eight National Basketball Association seasons, the first seven of which were with the Boston Celtics.
