Kylie with a K, as in Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the show she has appeared on since she was a teen. Forbes conservatively values the company at $US800 million, with an estimated $US330 million in sales a year ago.

Kylie's company Kylie Cosmetics is worth almost $800 million and she owns 100% of the company.

The superstar has over 110 million followers on Instagram and millions more on Snapchat; many of these are young women and girls who look to Kylie for advice and recommendations. And (if you believe a somewhat dubious Forbes article) she's very close to becoming a billionaire.

Kylie Jenner is gracing the cover of FORBES and the money magazine is singing her praises for being the youngest "self-made" billionaire in the business. Despite the success of her latest venture, makeup brand KKW Beauty, the company has only grossed about $100 million in revenue since its launch in 2017.

It's been merely two years since the star launched Kylie Cosmetics with her $29 lip kit. Jenner used her own money to start Kylie Cosmetics, but it was money she earned by virtue of the Kardashian name.

Forbes' Natalie Robehmed detailed how Kylie Cosmetics has found success by harnessing Jenner's huge social-media following and slashing costs by outsourcing labour. With that said, Kylie is on her way to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever, surpassing some guy named Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook.

You could say Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman. Her mother had the foresight to grow it into a full makeup line and ongoing business.

She's also on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire. She takes to Instagram and Snapchat almost hourly posting pouting selfies about which shade of Kylie Cosmetics she's wearing, posts videos of upcoming products, and announces new launches.
