Neither player has responded to the reports. Both ballers were in the nightclub for a private party after the ESPY Awards July 18th, and we're told that Thompson - dad of baby girl True with Khloe Kardashian - socked Green with a two-piece, getting the better of the NBA Champion.

Green bad mouthed Thompson in comments throughout the series, and Draymond did not shake Thompson's hand after the Warriors' Game 4 victory.

The party continued with Green and Thompson co-existing without incident.

McIntyre went on to say Green was not the aggressor, and the punch was a result of Tristan Thompson's built-up frustration from their feud.

Thompson and the rest of the Cavs were obviously frustrated after blowing their chance of stealing a game in Golden State, and Draymond knew how to push their buttons in the waning minutes.

Reports from Bossip and The Big Lead, which were also picked up by other USA sports media outlets, said the incident happened inside LA nightspot Delilah during a private party after the ESPY Awards last July 18.

The issues between the two started during Game 1 of June's NBA Finals when Green and Thompson got into an altercation at the end of the game, that involved Thompson pushing the ball into Green's face, and then gesturing that he wanted to fight Draymond after the game.

'It was a sucker punch, ' said one source who attended the party. However, Tristan Thompson allegedly "felt embarrassed" by what had happened during Game 4 and "unloaded" on Green. 'But, to be honest, it wasn't really a punch. Other reports have described it as a legit punch, maybe even a quick one-two.

"Man, that wasn't no fight", one source said.

According to Bossip, LeBron James and Kevin Durant broke up the fight. "It was much ado about nothing".

It'll be interesting to see if the two are cordial when the Cavs and Warriors suit up against each other in a few months.
