The video now has more than 700,000 views with many on Facebook urged people to stop supporting the nail salon.

According to witnesses and cops, the nail salon workers used broomsticks, fists, and dustpans on the customers before a civilian intervened.

The video was shared on Friday (Aug 3) by a woman named Mercy Maduka, who was at the New Red Apple Nails on East Flatbush's Nostrand Avenue when the attack happened around 9:30 pm EST.

The wild scene was captured on cell phone video.

Asian nail workers squared off against several Black woman as seen in a viral video posted on Facebook.

As Thomas runs out of the salon another can be heard saying "What are you doing", leading to Zhing attacking her as well.

"So, I'm at the nail salon and they f-ked up a lady eyebrow and she refused to pay then a fight broke outttt", explained Mercy Maduka in the video caption.

"Share this cause the cops made a decision to arrest the black people but not the Chinese people who ganged up on them", Mercy Maduka stated on Facebook.

"They viciously attacked the grandmother and the granddaughter, beat them with sticks as if they were animals and threw acetone on them", said community activist Anthony Beckford.

Huiyue Zheng, 32, was charged with assault and weapon possession.

On Monday afternoon, a line of nine uniformed cops protected the salon from about 75 angry protesters who hurled shoes, bottles and other objects as the owner and an employee were escorted out.

Video footage shows a salon employee using a broom to attack an upset customer.

Both Zheng and Thomas face charges including misdemeanor assault, menacing and harassment. (If the) police say you pay for the pedicure, then you pay for the pedicure. Thomas refused medical treatment, according to police.

"There is no respect for people in this neighborhood", said 49-year-old Gavin Gibbs, a neighborhood resident, the New York Daily News reported. The nail salon, however, claims that Thomas refused to pay for all of the services.
