Manchester United face 'difficult' year if no more signings - Jose Mourinho

Chelsea forward Willian reveals that he is regularly in contact with Jose Mourinho and is hopeful of playing for the Manchester United manager again in the future.

With rumours swirling about the potential signings of Leicester's Harry Maguire and Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld, it is nevertheless telling that the Portuguese is displeased United have left so little time to complete any potential transfer business.

Mourinho, according to sources, is open to the idea of replacing Martial with Willian but Woodward has concerns about swapping the 22-year-old for the Brazilian, who will be 30 this month.

"In the World Cup and recent seasons, I think he's been atrocious at times with his defending".

It is impossible to keep Manchester United out of the news at the moment with a host of players linked with the club as we have already mentioned, whilst the speculation surrounding Paul Pogba to Barcelona continues to swirl.

The switch in number represents Rashford's third change in four seasons as a first-team player, first being handed 39 by Louis van Gaal in his debut year followed by the number 19 the following season. "Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp". I hope he'll stay with us because he's an important player.

"I don't know if there was any official bid (from United), but some things have happened". Also, everything comes out on the internet, too. He has never called me, but he always sends me text messages.

Willian told reporters that he would only leave Chelsea if the club wanted to sell him, insisting he had not agitated for a move and wanted to stay in London. I also like living in London, it is an awesome city, and my family is well adapted.
