Actress Sean Young Wanted For Questioning In Queens Burglary

The New York Daily News reports the "Blade Runner" actress is a suspect in the case of a break-in at a business she once worked for in the Astoria neighbourhood.

Sean Young - who famously played Lt. Lois Einhorn/Ray Finkle in "Ace Ventura" - is wanted for questioning by the NYPD after she was allegedly caught on surveillance video stealing laptops and video production software.

Law enforcement sources say surveillance video shows the 58-year-old star and a man in his thirties nabbing two Apple laptops, and video editing software. All together, the cost of the stolen items is estimated to be about $12,000.

The 1980s star has had her share of public problems, including being sued by actor James Woods for harassment, who claimed she left weird items, including a headless doll, at his home.

A spokesperson for Young said the incident was a misunderstanding.

According to TMZ, the actress worked at the store until she was sacked a few months ago. For instance, in 1992, she "ambushed" director Tim Burton on the Warner Bros. lot while wearing a homemade Catwoman costume in an effort to snag a role in his movie Batman Returns (via The Hollywood Reporter).

In recent years, however, Young had seemed to be doing well, as she'd consistently snagged acting gigs.

Despite her troubles, her IMDB shows that she has been acting regularly. She recently appeared in The Alienist on U.S. television network TNT.
