Pedro, Eden Hazard net as Chelsea defeat Bournemouth

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed he will decide during the worldwide break who to name captain with Eden Hazard in the running alongside Cesar Azpilicueta.

"At the moment, I'm very happy with my players", he said.

Goals from Pedro and Eden Hazard saw Chelsea claim a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth to maintain the Blues' 100 percent record in the Premier League.

One of those to shine most under Sarri so far is left-back Marcos Alonso, and he played a prominent part in both Chelsea goals.

"It was a good chance for Callum and Nathan's one is a big moment in the game because you are trying to take the lead and make it hard for Chelsea". Last season they ended three places lower and with two fewer points, but Howe regarded convincing top-flight consolidation for a third consecutive campaign as their best achievement yet.

"For us now it's not important to think of matchday four, it's important to think of the next match".

Sarri told Sky Sports, "They (Bournemouth) defended very aggressively and made the situation not so easy". Last season, with Napoli, we went to Bournemouth for a friendly match.

For all their dominance of the ball - they averaged over 70 per cent of the possession - Chelsea often looked to be running out of ideas against a Bournemouth side not renowned for defending.

"Cesc is still out", Sarri said during his pre match press conference, via the Daily Star. "If he does, I think he can be the best left-back in the world".

Later in the first half, he allowed Wilson to control and lay the ball off before drifting away from the striker as he moved unmarked into the penalty area.

The Chelsea coach reacted by introducing Pedro and Olivier Giroud in place of Willian and Alvaro Morata and the home side started playing with more objective.

Sarri, though, acknowledged that Moses will not play as a right-wing-back under the new dispensation, a role in which he flourished in under Conte, as the new manager wants the dazzler to play as a winger, a position in which he excelled during his days with the Eagles.
