In addition, he has taken home £500,000 for his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Previously, Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal petitioned for the housemates to be shown the clip but was unsuccessful.

Lucy had drummed up support for Ryan throughout his run on CBB, encouraging fans to vote for him and leaping to his defence after the Roxanne Pallett controversy.

Thomas was shown footage from the incident with Roxanne - calling her reaction "totally unexpected".

Speaking of about the situation which saw Roxanne wrongly label him a "woman beater" he said he felt like a "scared little boy".

'I was glad we had 24-hour surveillance on us, because the point was proven'.

"I've not seen that back, I've not seen any of it back".

Even though many of CBB 2018's former housemates returned to cheer the final gang on from the sidelines, Roxanne Pallett was notably missing from the crowd.

She said: "Luckily, she was only there for four days".

"I think she's been punished enough by the public and the people around her". She will also no longer be playing Cinderella in the Chesterfield panto.

Last Sunday, Roxanne returned to reality television as a contestant on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls alongside stars including Suits' Eric Roberts and Love Island's Montana Brown. "I did break", said Thomas.

He added: "It wasn't scary for me, just uncomfortable".

He also addressed his fellow castmates, saying, "It's hard to judge a reason for me being here now...we're all winners".

The actress, 67, who finished runner-up to Ryan in Monday night's final, weighed in on the incident during an appearance on Wednesday's episode of This Morning.

The 43-year-old actor was crowned victor of the reality show during the series finale on Monday night (10.09.18) - after he was falsely accused of punching fellow housemate Roxanne Pallett during the series, only for her to admit afterwards she "got it wrong" - and he can not believe the series was only on for three-and-a-half weeks. Ryan Thomas came in first place, with Kirstie Alley and Dan Osborne finishing in second and third place respectively.
